Windows APPCRASH when opening security tab on Samba share
by mfoley from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6H6M6)
I don't know if this is a Windows or Linux question, but I'll start here as LQ people usually have the answers.
I have a new Samba file server. In Windows (10) Explorer, I can open the share with \\dc1.hprs.locl, and I see my folders. One folder is named 'Users' I can put files into that folder, no problem. However if I right-click on 'Users > Properties > Security, Explorer crashes. This does not happen on the other two folder (sysvol and netlogin). I find nothing in the Linux log files. The Windows event log gives

Any idea what's up with this?
