Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson announced quarterback Trevor Lawrence entered the concussion protocol following Sunday night's 23-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco.

Pederson added postgame that Lawrence was placed in the protocol due to a hit received in the fourth quarter, per Mia O'Brien of 1010XL.

Lawrence and the Jaguars' offense struggled during the Week 15 prime-time loss, totaling just one scoring drive. The 24-year-old completed 25 of his 43 pass attempts for 264 yards with one touchdown to zero interceptions plus 41 yards on the ground. He finished with an 83.9 passer rating.

The 2021 No. 1 pick has been banged up this month. Lawrence also suffered a high ankle sprain in a Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Jacksonville has lost three straight games to fall to 8-6. The club still holds the lead in the AFC South due to tiebreakers over the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
