Quarterback Jalen Hurts questioned the Philadelphia Eagles' commitment following their third straight loss Monday.

"I've been talking about execution all year, being on the same page, everyone being on the same page," Hurts said postgame, according to Kevin Patra of NFL.com. "We didn't execute. I don't think we're ... committed enough."

Hurts struggled to clarify his remark about his team's commitment when asked by reporters, saying, "I don't have a dictionary on me now. ... I don't know how else to say that."

The 25-year-old quarterback battled through an illness to play in Monday night's game versus the Seattle Seahawks. He completed 17 of 31 throws for 143 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Both picks came in the fourth quarter, with the first being caught in the end zone and the second coming on the Eagles' final drive to seal the win for the Seahawks.

Hurts shouldered responsibility for his role in Philadelphia's three-game slide, dropping its record to 10-4.

"We just have to be better," Hurts said. "I have to be better. Minimize the mistakes, the penalties, the mental errors. Play team football, and it starts with me leading that. We've lost games because I can be better. That will change everything, and I accept that."

Over the team's three consecutive losses, Hurts has thrown only one passing touchdown, though he's pitched in three with his legs. His 40.1 passer rating in Monday night's game is his lowest since 2021.

Despite Philadelphia's troubles, Hurts said he can see "light at the end of the tunnel."

"We have to make an internal change in how we attack things," Hurts added. "How we come to work every day. It starts with the little things, how committed we are to doing what we're doing. And it all starts with me, the quarterback. It's a challenge I'm embracing."
