[SOLVED] Cloning USB (thumb) drives containing bootable live Linux
by rfoLqOrg from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6H9ZW)
This question is driven by the fear that 32-bit versions of distros
vanish, meaning that respective ISOs will be harder and harder to find.
I have a 32-bit LMDE 6 live USB I am happy with for my purposes, which is subject to physical wear-out. Hence the wish to clone it. I read there are some options available. Is there any consensus
on which tool(s) is/are best to do this, on Windows Vista/7 (preferred) or during a live Linux session ?
I did of course store away the ISO that was burnt on to that USB, but with vanishing 32-bit distros the respective tools might vanish, too.
