New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson is set on reaching an impressive milestone for the second consecutive season.

"I want 1,000 yards," Wilson said, according to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post. "I want that. Really bad. Period."

He added: "I like to be conscious of what's going on and where I'm at. Sometimes when I do those reflections, I have to face the fact of what's going on and take some of the pressure off that I put on myself."

Wilson needs 118 receiving yards over the last three games to hit 1,000. He is the Jets' only wide receiver with over 315 yards this campaign and boasts over 60% of the team's receiving yardage from wide receivers in 2023.

The 23-year-old is having another productive year despite a revolving door at quarterback. Trevor Siemian is set to be New York's fourth starting signal-caller this season on Sunday and the seventh quarterback that Wilson has played with since entering the league in 2022.

"The reality of it is this hasn't been built for me to go out there and do what I think I can do. I have to be the best version of me - and I'm constantly on the chase of that," Wilson said.

He added: "I have to do my job - if the ball comes my way, make a play. Get open. See where that puts us when the clock hits zeroes. It's something I'm getting a little used to, to be honest. Just being consistent on who I am, holding myself to my standard and whatever is going on around me is what it is."

The Ohio State product is set to lead the team in targets, catches, and receiving yards for the second year in a row. He has 162 catches for 1,985 yards and seven touchdowns in 31 career games.
