Missing directory from wiki but its a file instead.

A lot of times I see in wikis and formus directories that are missing on my system.
For example in wiki it says to add Code:/etc/systemd/sleep.conf.d/disable-suspend.confBut when I look at my directory, I see only sleep.conf, it's a file, not directory. Now my question is, can I make a new directory with ".d" (sleep.conf.d) and then move all the files into it (including the original sleep.conf)? Will the system detect everything?
By the way can you please help me with this? I'm trying to solve it. It appears everytime the laptop suspends. (KDE Plasma5, Arch)
