Lions spoil Stafford's return, win 1st playoff game in 32 years
by Daniel Valente from on (#6HVPP)
For the first time since the 1991 season, the Detroit Lions have won a playoff game.
The Lions captured their first postseason victory in 32 years and ruined Matthew Stafford's Detroit homecoming in the process with their 24-23 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night.
Stafford, who spent the first 12 seasons of his career with the Lions, threw for over 350 yards and two touchdowns, but the Lions' defense hung on for the long-awaited postseason win.
More to come.
