KDE - Disabling suspend from command line - anybody know how?
by drmozes from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6HVYP)
Hi
Does anybody know how to disable 'Suspend action' within KDE's config, using the KDE command line tools?
In the Install guide, the section 'Disable KDE Suspend action' describes the requirement:
If you scroll up a few lines, you'll find the heading 'KDE fixups', where we call 'kwriteconfig5' to disable Compositing: this works, so kwriteconfig5 works properly at least.
I've tried using this but it doesn't work.
Code:kwriteconfig5 --file kdeglobals --group PowerDevil --key UseSuspend falseAny ideas?
Thanks
s.
