We need a better USB connector

I'm not talking about the data transfer rate and power delivery of the USB, but the physical plug and socket it uses. I'm sick and tired of bad contact of various types of USB plug from large to small, even the standard type A used on computer is not reliable, there is play in it to cause bad contact, to interrupt transfer simply by touching the cable and relocate the notebook during copy for example. The current type C is also not good enough, my cell phone got bad contact and won't charge after some times of use, so I opted for a wireless charge phone, but it is low efficiency wasting power. I am not a Mac user, but as far as I remember Mac used a magnetic type plug, was it mag-safe ? it would be great to implement as standard to replace current USB plugs, and Iim not talking about those aftermarket with detachable magnetic tip ones.
