amd a12 radeon 7 32 compatible opengl vulkan drivers help
by mrapathy from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6J5ZF)
I have a old acer aspire with AMD a12 apu with radeon 7 graphics card.
trying to get 32 bit compatibility going to use with playonlinux and wine 32bit for old 32 bit games.
got multilib installed though mesa 32 compat wasnt installed and so I installed it along with vulkan 32 compat.
playonlinux was built before they were installed and on starting playonlinux it says it doesnt detect 32 bit opengl drivers.
Took a hiatus from slackware and got used to Debian.
Switched back to slackware. Got slackware 15 installed with everything upgraded except for kernel and xorg due to issue where system would shutdown or reboot when starting X org. no kernel barf or xorg barf just get to kde loading screen system would pause could ctrl+alt f2 or anything it would just shutdown or reboot. been trouble shooting bunch of stuff and dont feel like finding out if its kernel or xorg. Installed slackware current recently and it worked fine. Also have two systems one tower amd ryzen r5 the other laptop intel core i7 with no issues from kernel or xorg both have nvidia graphics with no issues from fully upgraded 15.0.
not sure if my system is using amdgpu driver or what for xorg driver.
appreciate any help.
