qemu arcolinux with openbox vm maximize /minimize

good afternoon
i have installed qemu in arch linux, and created a vm.
still figuring things out, one thing i haven't figured out is after maximizing a vm how do you make it smaller.
i'm actually using arcolinux with openbox.
the two arrows upper right corner is how i'm maximizing the vm.
i would assume there is a keyboard short cut to return it to the original size.
supperkey+tab brings up a desktop switcher.
other than that no keybord short cuts seem to work.
