Hamilton landlord pleads guilty to failing to maintain smoke alarms, receives $8K fine

A property owner admitted they did not maintain the smoke alarms in a residential building in Hamilton's Landsdale neighbourhood. They have been charged $8,000 for violating the Ontario Fire Code.
