R.I.P. David Kahn

David Kahn has died, on January 23, age 93.
He is the author of the immortal 1967 book, The Codebreakers, which unlocked the mysteries of the world of cryptology for most of us.
It is also telling that he wrote the first edition when most of the secrets of Bletchley Park had not yet been revealed. He did not have a security clearance when he wrote his book.
The hyperlink is to an obituary column in The Washington Post which is, itself, well worth reading.
