New Orleans Saints veteran tight end Jimmy Graham is set to embark on an adventure across the Arctic Ocean in pursuit of a world record.

Graham announced Monday that he will be participating in the 2025 Arctic Challenge, where he'll be part of a four-person team rowing across the Arctic Ocean, according to Justin Vlosich of NewOrleansSaints.com. The team also includes former Navy SEAL Andrew Tropp, former Team USA rower Hannah Huppi, and former Team USA and Team Switzerland rower John Huppi.

The journey will begin in Norway and continue for more than 600 miles, eventually coming to an end in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The team will row non-stop for 24 hours a day, alternating through two-hour shifts.

Once they complete their mission, Graham and his crew will own a Guinness World record as the first mixed-gendered team to row across the Arctic Ocean. They can also break the record for the fastest four-person team to row across the Arctic Ocean if they achieve the feat in less than 15 days, five hours, and 32 minutes.

The Arctic Challenge is partnering with three charities for the row: the Jimmy Graham Foundation, Covenant House, and Laureus Sport for Good USA.

Graham signed a one-year deal with the Saints in 2023 after sitting out the previous season, returning to the team with which he spent the first five years of his career. The 37-year-old's future in the NFL is unclear, as he bid farewell to New Orleans on Instagram in January.
