Potential No. 1 pick Caleb Williams won't throw at the NFL Scouting Combine, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

LSU signal-caller Jayden Daniels also doesn't plan to work out at the combine, Rapoport reports.

Both quarterbacks will reportedly wait until their respective pro days to throw for scouts.

Other notable passers such as Michael Penix Jr., Bo Nix, and J.J. McCarthy do plan to throw, Rapoport adds.

Williams is one of the most anticipated quarterback prospects in recent memory. He threw for 72 touchdowns to only 10 interceptions during his two years at USC. Williams was named the 2022 Heisman winner after throwing for 42 touchdowns and 4,537 yards while adding 10 scores with his legs.

The 22-year-old began his college career at Oklahoma, where he impressed with 1,912 passing yards and 21 touchdowns in his lone season.

Meanwhile, Daniels captured the 2023 Heisman after a campaign that included 40 passing touchdowns and 10 rushing scores. He has built a reputation as one of the biggest dual-threat prospects.

The Chicago Bears hold the top pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, with the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots rounding out the top three.
