Report: Dolphins' Armstead to return for 2024 after considering retirement
Miami Dolphins left tackle Terron Armstead is expected to return for the 2024 season, sources told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Dolphins and Armstead are working to finalize a revised contract, adds Rapoport.
Armstead - who turns 33 in July - was considering ending his time in the NFL after again dealing with injuries in 2023 and missing seven games.
The veteran offensive tackle has struggled to stay healthy throughout his career, failing to play a full season in 11 years.
Despite his injury issues, Armstead remains a key piece of Miami's high-flying offense.
Armstead began his career with the New Orleans Saints before signing a five-year, $75-million deal with the Dolphins as a free agent in 2022. He's earned five Pro Bowl nominations, including in each of his two years in Miami.
