The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday they agreed to terms with guard Landon Dickerson on a four-year contract extension.

Dickerson will earn $84 million in base salary plus $3 million in incentives, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. He'll reportedly get $50 million in guaranteed money plus a $20-million signing bonus.

His average annual salary of $21 million will make him the highest-paid guard in NFL history. He was set to enter the final year of his rookie deal.

Philadelphia selected Dickerson with the 37th pick in the 2021 draft. After battling injury issues at Alabama, the 25-year-old has developed into a reliable player for the Eagles' offensive line. He has played over 90% of the team's offensive snaps over the last two years.

Dickerson has played 47 games in three seasons, including 46 starts. He has allowed only eight sacks since entering the league and has been selected to back-to-back Pro Bowls.
