Kali encryption password

Not sure if it's the right section, I'm new to this forum.

I didn't use my laptop which has Kali desktop encrypted on it long time ago and now that i tried to log in I forgot my encryption password, I tried many times and many passwords that I might have made but none of it works. I have data that I cannot afford to lose on it so please if you know any solution to reset the password tell me
