Linux (DSL) will not install. Stops after a few steps
by BillMaxwell555 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6KJPK)
My First Question on this Forum: I was given a very old laptop. Sony Vaio VGN-FJ3S/W
It has 2GB of RAM and is 32 Bit. I am unable to install Linux. I have tried several different version. Hard to still find 32Bit Linux, but I found DSL and burned the ISO to a DVD. The Laptop will not boot from USB. Anyway - During the install process, after several steps the installation just stops and will not go anyfurther. I replaced the Hard Drive and RAM with no luck.
