TP-Link AC1300

Hi,
I am running Linux mint 21.1 I have been using an old wi-fi dongle that works fine, but I have just bought a new TP-Link AC1300 dongle, as it is much faster. My computer will not recognize it.
I tried a driver update with it plugged in but it says all drivers are up to date?
Can anyone help.
