Owen Sound Attack goaltender Carter George and his Team Canada teammates clinched first place in Group B at the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championships in Finland. George started in goal as Canada topped Sweden (6-3), and made a 26-save shutout in a 6-0 win over Czechia. Ryerson Leenders took over in goal for an 8-1 victory over Switzerland. Canada will play Kazakstan on Tuesday in its final round-robin game. George is 2-0 with a 0.945 save percentage and a 1.50 goals-against average through two games. Read More
