Manhattan's district attorney, Alvin Bragg, said that approximately 280 people were arrested between protests at Columbia University and Cuny. 'There were approximately 280 total arrest from these two events,' Bragg confirmed during Wednesday's press conference.

New York police stormed Columbia University and City College of New York on Tuesday, evicting students from both campuses.
