Jacobs has fiery exchange with Raiders fans over exit
Running back Josh Jacobs went on the offensive on social media after receiving some pushback from fans regarding his departure from the Las Vegas Raiders.
Jacobs responded to a user on X after he was criticized for leaving Las Vegas earlier this offseason. The former All-Pro tailback signed a four-year, $48-million contract with the Green Bay Packers after spending the first five seasons of his career with the Raiders.
"A fake ass goodbye. It ain't no hate to the Raiders, they made a business decision and so did I," Jacobs posted on X, along with a middle finger emoji. "It's simple, move on."

Jacobs was then called out for saying that a goodbye to the fans would be disingenuous despite playing only for the silver and black after the franchise drafted him in the first round in 2019.
It appears the two-time Pro Bowler may not have all fond memories of Raiders fans.

Jacobs tallied 6,993 scrimmage yards and 46 total touchdowns during his Raiders tenure. His best season came in 2022 when he ran for a league-leading 1,653 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per attempt, to go along with 12 scores.
Following a productive 2022, Jacobs couldn't find similar success the following campaign. The Raiders dismissed head coach Josh McDaniels following a 3-5 start. Although the talented halfback eclipsed the 100-yard rushing mark twice that season, he missed the final month due to a quad injury.
Now a member of the Packers, Jacobs is expected to be a key contributor on a dynamic offense centered around quarterback Jordan Love. He'll also have a capable running mate in AJ Dillon, who re-signed with Green Bay in the offseason.
"I'm good where I'm at," Jacobs said. "Only time will tell. Sit back and enjoy the show."
