Chicago Bears receiver Rome Odunze is excited about the team's potential with him and quarterback Caleb Williams in town.

"Definitely," Odunze said when asked if he could see how the pieces of Chicago's new-look offense will work together, according to ESPN. "Especially with Caleb throwing the ball there's so many different avenues of the offense that we can explore, especially with the wide receiver core with such versatile receivers. There is no limit to what we can do."

The Bears added significant pieces to their offensive unit this offseason. Chicago traded for wideout Keenan Allen and signed running back D'Andre Swift in March before drafting Williams first overall and Odunze at No. 9. With Allen and Odunze joining a depth chart that already featured D.J. Moore, the Bears now boast arguably the NFL's best trio of wide receivers.

Veteran tight end Cole Kmet, who's entering his fifth season with Chicago, believes that the team is finally putting a new quarterback in a position to succeed.

"It's exciting," Kmet said Tuesday on "Up & Adams." "We've got a lot of young, talented players, and I think for the first time in a long time - I don't even know if it's ever happened - we have an infrastructure in place for a high-end, talented rookie quarterback to come in."

A Bears QB has never topped 4,000 yards or 30 touchdown passes in a single season.

"Obviously, Caleb is highly touted," Kmet continued. "He's been that way for a long time now. He gets to go in a situation with a lot of veteran, quality, good players and also a really good defense."

The Bears - who posted a 7-10 record in 2023 - ranked 18th in points scored and 20th in total yards last year. They haven't placed in the top 10 for both categories in the same campaign since 2013.
