Giants add Allen Robinson to WR corps
The New York Giants have signed veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson, the team announced Thursday.
The terms of the deal weren't disclosed.
Robinson started 17 games for the Pittsburgh Steelers last season, recording 34 receptions for 280 yards and zero touchdowns. His 8.2 yards per reception was a career low for the wideout.
The 30-year-old began his career as a prominent receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars before stints with the Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, and Steelers. His best year came in 2015 when he recorded 1,400 receiving yards and a league-high 14 touchdowns.
The Giants also drafted LSU star receiver Malik Nabers last month to bolster their wide receiver room.
