Since the foliotransition affects many subsystems, it is fitting that the subject wascovered at the beginning of the 2024 Linux Storage,Filesystem, Memory Management, and BPF Summit in a joint session of thestorage, filesystem, and memory-management tracks. Matthew Wilcox used thesession to review the work that has been done in this area and to discusswhat comes next.
