Lindsey Graham has said it was not good judgment" for the supreme court justice Samuel Alito to allow an upside-down American flag to be flown outside his home, marking what for him is a rare rebuke of a conservative judge.
The Republican US senator's comments on Monday to HuffPost's Igor Bobic came after the New York Times' recent report that an American flag was displayed upside down outside Alito's home on 17 January 2021 - less than two weeks after supporters of Donald Trump carried out the deadly US Capitol attack and three days before Joe Biden's inauguration.
