Expanding Swap memory?

System description
I have a laptop with 16 GB of RAM, 2.5 of which are dedicated to a ramdrive. The computer is running a fairly recent version of Linux Mint and has a fast SSD as its primary hard drive. The current size of the swap file is 2GB. There is plenty of room on the hard drive to expand it.

Problem description
Lately, I've noticed from the Htop utility that the swap memory is usually maxed. As a result, I'm wondering if this means I should expand it to make sure that the system is running more efficiently. I'm not clear how much I should expand it to either.

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
