MPV and streaming 'live' radio from youtube

I was so pleased to see MPV included today I have always used it to stream live from youtube in conjunction with youtube-dl as I could never get mplayer to do it, also MPlayer gui has never worked for me so I rebuild without the gui if it wasn't for soma I would probably be retiring it. Anyway...
I installed it and directed it to a random live stream but was disappointed when I got an error message stating it was an unknown format. I played around with Pat's build comparing it to the one on Slackbuilds and it seems that if you want to stream live from youtube you have to rebuild Pat's with luaJIT installed as the only other dependency (other than yt-dlp or youtube-dl pf course but not needed for the build). I am not sure why mujs was needed in the slackbuilds version.
It may not be of much interest to anyone but thought I would make a post just in case anyone encountered the same problem
