Some games and benchmarks lowers performance like 30% when the Kernel is not signed Microsoft

Recently Nvidia card users report some games and benchmarks lowers performance like 30% when the Kernels is not signed Microsoft.
2017 I noticed this with the benchmark unigine Superposition (linux ,not wine), kernel 4.4 Slackware-14.2 vs kernel 4.4 ubuntu 16.4 inside a Slackware 14.2 (intel gpu)
At the time I had thought of a canonical/unigine agreement or a miraculous patch RT.
Someone knows more?
