Slackware repo
by pingu_penguin from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6NKKB)
Hi,
If I want to create a slackware repository and make it publicly available on the internet, do I necessarily need a static IPv4 ip address ?
Also I would like to know how a repository is managed in the slackware community.
If there is a problem with any "xyz" software, how is it handled ?
I mean, does it take a lot of people with good coding skills to service it ? (patching, updating and all)
I am thinking of making one available over IPv6 considering the fact that there are no tools (at least to my knowledge) that do denial of service over IPv6.
