Num Lock starts up in the on state for all but one user

Num Lock starts up in the on state for all but one user (vx) and i would like for it to start in the on state for that user (vx), also.

lt1a/forums/3 /home/forums 10>so i guess the cause must be something else. any ideas how i can configure a setting for the Num Lock key to be on (separately for each user is OK even though i want every user set the same way).
