Can the Raspberry Pi boot on a SD/MMC with efi/isolinux.bin boot?
by Xeratul from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6NQSC)
Hello,
I have devuan live (isolinux) sd/mmc and I would like to use it as well to boot my raspberry PI3 and 4.
Is it possible that the PI boots on a such SD/MMC? because there is no FAT16/32 on the partition 1.
kind regards
Code:
Disk /dev/sdb: 14.5 GiB, 15518924800 bytes, 30310400 sectors
Units: sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes
Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes
Disklabel type: dos
Disk identifier: 0x703d66fe
Device Boot Start End Sectors Size Id Type
/dev/sdb1 * 64 2068479 2068416 1010M 0 Empty
/dev/sdb2 532 3411 2880 1.4M ef EFI (FAT-12/16/32)
