totally disable nvidia GPU, without add nvidia packages and change the hw?
by hd99 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6NSZ3)
hello
im using an old vaio, because i have not really the choice
it runs on LMDE, and have two intel+nvidia GPU, plus a stamina/speed/auto mode.
problem, when im using it a bit intensive (aka on the web), the nvidia becomes a real oven, and sometimes just powers off the computer, i guess, due to warm temperature
how, without adding any new (especially nvidia) packages, nor removing any component, disable definitely the nvidia card? to just keep the intel one?
it's a vaio-vpcz1,
