Not able to login to SDDM Arch Linux

I recently decided to install Arch Linux on a virtual machine to try it out before I installed it on real hardware. I did archinstall because I am a newbie and didnit want to spend so much time reading the wiki and then something ends up not working because I am pretty clumsy lol. But anyways, my main issue is that when I boot up into arch I enter the sddm screen and everything is fine, my user pops up and I click on the password prompt thing and enter my password, I hit enter and nothing happens. I stay on the login screen and I am unable to login. It doesnit show a ipassword incorrecti or anything like that, just nothing. I have tried searching for my issue but not much pops up that will help me. This is probably just some dumb issue I managed to make for myself because I did something wrong but Iive already went through countless troubleshooting in order for myself to get here. I use KDE plasma btw and this is post installation so I havenit gotten past this. Any help is appreciated
