MX Linux freezes on login

Hello,
I have a Lenovo LEGION 5 and I got very tired of using Windows so I decided I'd remove it and start using Linux, I use it to code some script or run a VM but most of the times what I do is just watch YouTube videos. Where I am trying to get is that I don't make any heavy duty processor consuming things with it but ever since I update from kernel 5.10.29 the system started to freeze after I log in, I can only see the login MX Linux wallpaper, I've been trying to get this solved since the first moment I started to have it so I removed the contents of .cache/, uninstalled conky, purged orage, purge the non-free NVIDIA driver and installed the open source versions, I also uninstalled those because the problem persisted.
The only solution I've got until now is pressing CTRL + ALT + F2 to get a TTY, login and execute startx. Is there anything else I can try? any help will be greatly appreciated.
