Ontario has the worstrecycling rates in Canada for non-alcoholic beverage containers. Billions of cans, plastic bottles and cartons go tolandfills or incinerators yearly. The Ford government was seriously considering adopting a new system to improve things, but abruptly U-turned and scrapped it.
