I'm stuck went to swap Windows 10 out for Linux MX-AHS, and my bootloader bailed!

Hello! Let's get somethings out of the way right here,I am new here, and new to Linux. Infact I am a total idiot when it comes to Linux. Given that I am new I'd like to ask one favor of everyone, please be patient I really don't mean to offend, and if I do I will own it.
ok! I got a notice from Microsoft informing me they were stop updating windows 10 next month and then they told me because the processor wasn't on their list my laptop(a HP ProBook 6565b) wouldn't be able to run window 10 that's when I started looking at Linux. I liked what I saw so I settled on a MX-AHS distro and created a botanle flash drive of it using RUFUS.
Every things was going well, until I had to do the first reboot you know after Windows was deleted well actually it was more being over written. I got a screen saying thatI needed to install a new Operating system and that the bootloader couldn't be found.
So I did a little research and found out that more then likely the bootloader didn't install correctly and I need to reinstall it. Here's the problem, windows is gone there is no turning back, even the remaining BIOS MENU only boot me to the disk testing spot. I did manage to compress Mx-AHS, and save it to RAM, but it's Shakey at best and honestly I haven't got a clue about this new OS, can I get into the BIOS? To reinstall the bootloader, do I need to? How do I use MX to fix this ?Because right now that's all I got. Do I need special commands?
I'm really hung out here I do know enough to know I'm in way over my head I am in serious need of all the help I can get. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS!
