Tried to investigate menu "settings/3D acceleration"

Got an error.

There are errors in a driver's configuration information:

This should not happen. It probably means that you have to update DRIconf.
I could not figure out what DRIconf was, as it could not be found in /etc/ or other searches.
I finally discovered that there is /usr/bin/driconf.
Running that (in a window) gives me the same exact error.

As far as stuff like this, I am running the Slackware 15.0 distribution, with updates current to May 2024.
I am at a loss as to what I need to do to address this issue, or even what is broke.
Does "update DRIconf" refer to some configuration file, or the driconf program?
Anyone got any clue, or does the distribution need to be fixed ?

This machine has AMD integrated graphics.
Driver: radeon as module.
