Game recommendations based on machine specs

I am trying to get into finding more games in Linux however I don't have the newest of machines. Currently running Debian 12 with AwesomeWM on the following:
Dell Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU N3710 @ 1.60GHz with 500gb space, 64 bit, 8g memory and 4 cores with an Intel video card.

I play quite a bit of chess and have for a long time have been set with my chess needs with Linux. I'm just not familiar with games that are not chess related with the above specs in mind.

Minetest runs pretty well as I play quite a bit of Minecraft on other devices and getting ready to try 0ad and doomsday and pokerth has ran fairly well. Used to enjoy first person shooter, rpg, real time strategy, space types of games.

Also note, I am open minded to app-images, .deb packages, snaps and flatpaks if there are recommendations outside of the Debian repositories but generally speaking I prefer to be a stickler to the repositories in Debian. I do have the back-ports installed and looking through the specific games on the Debian Games meta-package list.
