Touch eGalax not working with Ubuntu 24.04

Hi,
I have a system with intel core i7-13700 32GB RAM and 512GB SSD. The display is a 24" full HD with a capacitive multitouch screen. OS is Ubuntu 24.04.
The issue is that the touch seems not working even with the official driver. Whitout the official driver the touch doesn't work at all.
The problems I found are:
- the touch is not calibrated
- The touch functionalities are not working: no possibility to do the zoom or move windows, no double click working.
Any suggestion about how to fix the issue?
