Kamala Harris accuses Trump of backpedaling on debate, saying she's ready – video
Kamala Harris, who is leading the race to become the Democratic nominee for the US presidential race, said she would be prepared to debate the Republican nominee and former president, Donald Trump. Speaking to reporters upon arrival at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, she said: 'I have agreed to the previously agreed-upon September 10th debate. He agreed to that previously. Now it appears he's backpedaling. But I'm ready ... I think the voters deserve to see the split screen that exists in this race on a debate stage.'
The 10 September debate was the second date at which Joe Biden was meant to face Trump before he decided to pull out following a poor performance on CNN at the end of June
