External Storage Replication

Hello, I have a VM (on Openstack) attached to external storage(ceph). I want to create another VM and attach a storage to that which has same information in the storage attached to VM-1.
In summary i want to replicate the storage attached to the running VM and re use it for new VM. What are the possible options here?
