Hello all,

I came to use slackware 15 today, and more specifically wanted to use the gimp among other things, but failed to start.

I then tried to open in terminal and got

Code:(gimp:20054): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 16:22:43.859: Two different plugins tried to register 'GeglOpPlugIn-transform-core'.

(gimp:20054): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: 16:22:43.859: Two different plugins tried to register 'GeglOpreflect_c'.

Segmentation faultand that not all as it just was too much, and I could not put it all into a text file.

I removed the gimp, and a gegl package.

Remover from home directory in .local and .config gimp amf gegl files.

then did a find /usr -iname gimp then the same for gegl (found a /usr/bin/gegl so removed that).

Reinstalled the gimp, and tried restarting but got the same response.

Gegl though seems to be included in the gimp package.

I've run out of ideas, sp does anyone know about this.

TIA for any help.
