Undo sudo apt remove nvidia-cuda-toolkit && sudo apt autoremove

Working on KDE Neon 6.0 (Ubuntu 22.04) I have discovered installed cuda runtime version is 11.1 and cuda driver version 12.2, to upgrade the runtime (I needed >12 to install a package) I followed a post suggestion proposing to execute first

sudo apt remove nvidia-cuda-toolkit && sudo apt autoremove

and next reinstall cuda runtime from https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-12...type=deb_local

As a newbie I didn't noticed/don't understand the effect of autoremove, and only looking at the console I noticed how many packages was actually removed. I stopped the process at 30% before finished (closing the bash console).

Looking at apt logs I was able to identify the removed packages (attached the relevant log portion), trying to reinstall them using

sudo apt install --reinstall (list of packages)

I got the answer
