'Feat of diplomacy': Biden welcomes release of prisoners in Russia swap –video

The US president held a press conference after the journalist Evan Gershkovich and others were freed in a prisoner exchange between western countries and Russia. Gershkovich, Paul Whelan, Alsu Kurmasheva and Vladimir Kara-Murza were among those freed after being held in Russia. The exchange took place at Ankara airport in Turkey, with eight Russians held in the west returning to Russia. Among them was the assassin Vadim Krasikov, who has been held in a German prison since 2019 for the murder of a Chechen exile in Berlin
