Hello again
I'm running zentyal 7 domain controller
When I try to restart DNS server from the dashboard the response is
Error restarting service DNS. See /var/log/zentyal/zentyal.log for more information.
When I check the above log the part that seems relevant says
blah blah blah I can provide this part if needed blah blah blah
Restart of DNS from dashboard failed: root command kinit -k -t /var/lib/samba/private/dns.keytab dns-area47 failed.
Error output: Password has expired
dns-area47@BBE.WORX's Password:
Soooo which password expired?
I have user/password to get to the dashboard which is working
I have user/password to ssh into zentyal machine which works
I have user/password to log into the network to gain access to others of which I have two
the built in admin account which I never use doesn't appear to work, I've reset the password to no avail
the second, an added/copy of admin account works fine
area47 is the local host name . . . . I don't recall setting a password for area47.
thank you for help
jan
