‘I feel ecstatic’: Harris and VP pick Tim Walz fire up Philadelphia rally-goers

Energetic voters praise Harris and her decision to tap the Minnesota governor at their first joint campaign event

At Kamala Harris's first rally since announcing Minnesota governor Tim Walz as her running mate, the room at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was ebullient, filled with thousands of voters cheering and waving Harris-Walz signs.

I feel ecstatic," said Joseph Alston, a 69-year-old West Norriton Democratic committee member.
