KRDC hangs with Windows 11 connection
by Tsuga from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6PXWD)
I use KRDC to connect to two windows machines. One uses Windows 10 and the other uses Windows 11, "W11". Just in the last two days, when I try to use KRDC to connect to the W11 machine, I get a black screen, like something is hanging. No error message about an incorrect password. No option for a menu or anything on the black screen. I can let that sit like that for 20 minutes and nothing happens. I was able to connect to that machine a few days before. I can still connect to the Windows 10 machine without a problem. The W11 machine is multi-user and has another user currently running a job on it. That user can connect as needed without a problem, while I get the hung screen. I searched a little for some troubleshooting help but could find nothing. I do have
Code:[ installed ] - freerdp-2.11.7-x86_64-1_slack15.0but I'm not sure what to do at this point. I've attached a screenshot of the KRDC settings before I connect and what KRDC looks like when it's hanging. Any ideas on how to fix this? I tried to connect with xfreerdp via terminal and had a same result.
