Can't see my drives
by SquareKnot from LinuxQuestions.org on (#6Q1WF)
I've just move to Ubuntu 24.04 fro Linux Mint 21.3. My laptop has a 512g ssd with the os installed on it. I also have a 1TB drive on board for storage.
In Mint when the machine booted up, I could see all of the mounted drives on the desktop, and could simply drag and drop files to or from them.
Not so with Ubuntu apparently.
Is there some setting somewhere that I can use to accomplish the same thing. Bear in mind, my skills with the terminal commands are a tad below minimum at this point.
Thanks in advance to any that can help with this.
